Working at Breakthrough Academy is a wonderful opportunity to expand your skills by working alongside uniquely-trained staff and gaining outstanding professional development. We are a sponsor agency of the AzABA so your membership is a benefit of working at Breakthrough Academy.
Breakthrough Academy is a private, special day learning center committed to implementing innovative, effective, scientifically-based pedagogy. We specialize in ABA-based instruction (including Precision Teaching, Relational Frame Theory (ACT), and traditional skill acquisition and behavior reduction interventions, Social/Emotional Learning, and Executive Functioning training. We commit to strong professional development in these areas to ensure implementation fidelity. We maintain small class sizes (from 3-10 students). Our goal is to develop critical thinking in learners to return them to a general education setting and future transition to independence.
We are looking for passionate, compassionate, service-driven individuals dedicated to practice innovative instruction with high quality while tapping into a student's learning style. Our motto is: "If the learner isn't learning, the teacher isn't teaching." We welcome those committed to never, ever, ever giving up on a learner and those interested in working in this special environment.
